Brand Connector allows an agency to share a brand’s font libraries with brand partners. Agencies initiate the process by sending their brand partners an authorized share token. The brand then activates the sharing connection with the supplied agency token.
Applies to: Any company on Monotype Fonts with font list sharing rights and any agency on Monotype Connect with Monotype Connect for Agencies account.
Scope: Only font lists in My Library (Monotype Fonts).
This article explains the Brand Connector and how to use it. It includes:
How Brand Connector works
Brand Connector links your Monotype Fonts account to your agency's Monotype Connect for Agencies account.
You set up the connection once. After that, sharing additional font lists with the same agency takes only a few clicks. This helps an agency and its team to use your brand fonts (from Monotype Fonts) inside Monotype Connect without handing over your library or losing control of it.
The process involves two user roles:
Brand admin (you): shares font lists from Monotype Fonts and stays in control.
Agency admin: receives the shared font lists in Monotype Connect and assigns fonts to their team.
Note: No extra authentication or additional logins are needed. Any company on Monotype Fonts with font list sharing rights can use Brand Connector to receive the shared font lists in Monotype Connect.
Prerequisites
Since Brand Connector links two separate accounts, both accounts must already be set up and ready-to-use. Before you start using Brand Connector, ensure that the following requirements are met.
A font list exists in My Library
Brand Connector supports sharing font lists only. Web projects, digital ad packages, and folders cannot be shared. The agency has a Monotype Connect for Agencies account
The agency must have an active account to receive the shared font list. You have the agency's Unique ID
The Unique ID serves as the agency's share token. An agency administrator can generate it in Monotype Connect > Font Libraries > Shared Libraries > Create Share Token and provide it to you via email or chat.

What the agency can and cannot do
Shared font lists are read-only for agencies. Agencies can view and use the fonts, but only the list owner can make changes. So you as a brand admin keep full control at all times.
