Shared logins are prohibited for Monotype Fonts account. You will require a unique login ID to access your Monotype Fonts account. Two-factor authentication (2FA) or multi-factor authentication (MFA) is also required to authenticate your account.
You may not be able to access your account if 2FA/MFA setup is not successful. Use the following steps to resolve this issue:
- Download the guardian app on your phone. - Note: Ensure that the date and time in your phone is set accordingly (either auto or to your current time zone) to avoid an issue due to mismatched MFA numbers. 
- Log out from your Monotype Fonts account. 
- Clear browser cache and cookies, and then restart your system. 
- Log in to your Monotype Fonts account. - Tip: Keep your phone and guardian app readily available. For detailed process refer to the Monotype Fonts MFA setup guide.pdf. 
- Scan the QR code shown on the screen to your phone’s guardian app. 
- Complete the setup process.
