The Monotype Desktop App prevents missing font frustrations.

Creatives spend roughly eight hours a week on nuisance tasks like tracking and installing the correct fonts—a full day’s worth of time spent not designing. In addition to losing time, these disruptions can derail your creative process, which is often already compromised by other demands on your time.

Syncing Fonts to the Monotype Desktop App

  1. Ensure that you're signed into the browser and that you have the Monotype Desktop App installed first.

  2. If you don't have the app installed on the top right hand corner of your screen, click on your profile dropdown and you'll have the option to download the Monotype App.

  3. Once you got that all squared away, search for the fonts in question on the browser and on the top right hand corner of your screen, you have the option to either sync the entire font family or scroll down on the family page and you can sync each font individually.

  4. Once the syncing is completed, you'll see the green check mark and you're ready to use the font through your Monotype App.

  5. Keep in mind that once the font is synced, you can use these fonts offline.
