Use the following steps to uninstall the app from your system:
Run the Uninstaller application to uninstall the Monotype Desktop App from your system.
Note: You can either use Search or the Control Panel (Programs and Features) to find the Monotype Desktop App uninstaller.
Wait for the uninstaller to complete the uninstallation process.
Note: Some residue files may remain in your system even after uninstalling the Monotype Desktop App.
Check the following folders after uninstallation:
Windows:
C:\Users<username>\AppData\Local\Packages
C:\Users<username>\AppData\Local\Monotype FontsMac: /Applications/Monotype Fonts/
If there are files remaining in these folders even after uninstallation is complete, then manually delete the remaining files and restart your system.
