Monotype Fonts is a web-based platform that works in tandem with the Monotype Desktop App. It provides you with all the tools you need to efficiently find, manage, and use fonts either for yourself or your team. This section will help you understand:
How to sign up for Monotype Fonts
Monotype offers three types of subscriptions. All three give you access to Monotype’s 150,000 font library and efficient font discovery and management features.
Creative Agencies – All the capabilities that you need to create prototypes and pitches.
Individual & Small Teams – Designed for one-person businesses and small creative teams.
Large Brands – Three plans to suit different levels of needs for web-based font usage.
You can also sign up for a Free Trial that lets you explore all the fonts and features available in Monotype Fonts.
After signing up, use this link to log in to Monotype Fonts web interface.

How to get the Monotype Desktop App
The Monotype Desktop App runs on your PC (Windows or Mac) and performs following three important functions:
Font syncing and unsyncing
Management of Monotype Fonts
Font assistance (detects and auto-activates missing fonts in your creative applications)
Installation steps
Before you begin:
Uninstall any earlier version from your machine. For details see Uninstall the Monotype Desktop App in Help Center.
Ensure that all prerequisites are met. For details see the Compatibility Matrix in Help Center.
To install the app (self-installation):
Click one of the Download buttons depending on whether you’re using Windows or Mac OS. This will download the installer for Monotype Desktop App on your PC.
Double-click on the installer to start the installation.
Open the app once installed and log in to the app with your credentials.
Note: Your login will be initiated on your default browser. By logging in to the Monotype Desktop App you will automatically get logged in to the Monotype Fonts web platform.
