Font Discovery. Searching for fonts in Monotype Fonts.

With over 200,000 fonts and growing, searching for fonts could be overwhelming. So to aid you in that font discovery process, we've added some filters and features on the left hand side of the screen to guide you along the way.

Starting with our Monotype tags, you can search for a specific font by Vibe or by a Mood. So for an example, I'm looking for something retro. I could select the filter so that Monotype presents all fonts in the inventory that fall with the retro theme. I can also search by font style.

So if I'm looking for maybe something display or maybe sans serif, again, I could select those filters so that Monotype Fonts presents all the sans serif fonts available in the inventory below. We also have language support. As you may or may not know, Monotype covers about 95% of the spoken language.

So if you're working on a project that may require multiple language coverage, for this example I've selected English and Korean, Monotype Fonts is now presenting all fonts in our inventory that support both languages. Thereby, regardless of language or region, we're consistent with the font that we've selected.

Aside from searching for fonts by language, you can also select based based on different foundries, using our visual properties if you have a very specific criteria that the font must meet, check out our variable fonts or be sure to check out our advanced typography setting.

So if you're looking for fonts that have fractions, you could set that filter as well. If you have any other questions, please let us know.
